Ludlow Carter 
Ludlow was born in 1709 in Corotoman, Lancaster Co, VA. Ludlow's father was Robert Carter and his mother was Betty Landon. His paternal grandparents were John Carter and Sarah Ludlow. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Robert, Charles, Landon, George, Anne, Sarah, Betty, Mary and Lucy. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named John, Elizabeth, Sarah, Judith and Judith II. He died before 1719 in Corotoman plantation, Lancaster Co., VA. He was buried in Ludlow--ca. 1709. Died before his mother and buried near her at Christ Church.General Notes
