Thomas Daniel Fortson 
Thomas Daniel was born on August 25th, 1815 in Elbert County, GA.1 Thomas Daniel's father was Jesse Fortson and his mother was Mary Ballinger White. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Fortson and Rachel Winn; his maternal grandparents were Daniel White and Mary Ballinger. He had a brother and five sisters, named Jesse Marion, Martha M., Elizabeth, Mary B., Jane M. and Alemeda Harriett. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 70 on December 16th, 1885.1 -
