Jesse Fortson 
Jesse was born on December 17th, 1783 in Orange County, VA.1 Jesse's father was Thomas Fortson and his mother was Rachel Winn. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Fortson and Elizabeth Winn; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Winn and Miss Taverner. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Benjamin, William, Richard, Elizabeth and Millie. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 43 on April 2nd, 1827 in Elbert County, GA.1 -
