Maud Fortson 
Maud was born on February 19th, 1804.1 Maud's father was Benjamin Fortson and her mother was Elizabeth Gaines. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Fortson and Rachel Winn. She had three brothers and four sisters, and also two siblings of unknown gender, named Thomas, Richard F., Benjamin G., Sarah, Rachel W., Elizabeth A., Amanda N. M., Easton and Mahala. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She had two half-brothers named James and John.1 -
