Thomas+ was born on March 20th, 1764 in Cane Creek, Orange, NC. Thomas+'s father was Thomas Curran+ Vestal and his mother was Elizabeth+ Davis. His paternal grandparents were William+ Vestal and Elizabeth Mercer; his maternal grandparents were Charles+ Davis and Hannah+ Matson. He had a brother and two sisters, named John, Jemima and Rachel. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 61 on October 4th, 1825 in NC.General Notes
