Rachel Vestal 
Rachel was born on June 10th, 1766 in Orange Cty., NC. Rachel's father was Thomas Curran+ Vestal and her mother was Elizabeth+ Davis. Her paternal grandparents were William+ Vestal and Elizabeth Mercer; her maternal grandparents were Charles+ Davis and Hannah+ Matson. She had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas+, John and Jemima. She was the second youngest of the four children. She died at the age of 82 on October 1st, 1848 in Yadkinville, NC.General Notes
