John Bond 
John was born on June 15th, 1769 in Guilford, NC. John's father was Edward Bond and his mother was Elizabeth Ann Mills. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Bond and Martha Rogers; his maternal grandparents were John+ Mills and Sarah+ Beals. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Benjamin, William, Edward, Jesse, Joshua, Joseph, Keziah and Anna. He was the third oldest of the nine children.
