Elizabeth+ was born on April 15th, 1785 in Surrey Co., Surrey, NC. Elizabeth+'s father was Thomas+ Vestal and her mother was Amy+ Thompson. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Curran+ Vestal and Elizabeth+ Davis; her maternal grandfather is Samuel+ Thompson and her maternal grandmother was Phebe+ Allen. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William, John, Thomas, Phebe, Hannah, Mary, Jemima and Rachel. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 55 on September 30th, 1840 in Yadkin Co., Surrey, NC. She was buried in October 1840 in Deep Creek burial ground, Yadkin, NC.General Notes
