Thomas Frederick Troxell 
Thomas Frederick was born about 1805 in Emmetsburg, Frederick Co., MD. Thomas Frederick's father was Frederick Troxell and his mother was Catherine Wilson. His paternal grandparents were John Peter Troxell and Catharine Maria Magdalena Schreiber. He had two brothers and a sister, named Joseph, Frederick W. and Catherine. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died about 1872. He was buried in Loudon Park Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.General Notes
SOURCES: E-mail 01/06/2004 from Maureen Sullivan (chichi389@@yahoo.com), who states that Thomas "was a businessman with his fingers in alot of pies." He had a business with Henry Keyser called "Keyser-Troxell & Company". Thomas was "part owner of the Avalon Nail and Iron Company and a rail line that connected Baltimore with the mills on the Patapsco. An historic flood wiped out the nail and iron company in 1867." According to Maureen, Thomas also apparently suffered other business failures to to "Acts of God".
