Johannes Trachsel 
Johannes was born in August 1689 in Lenk, Switzerland. Johannes' father was Jakob+ Trachsel and his mother was Margaretha+ Brengal. His paternal grandparents were Hans Jakob+ Trachsel and Elizabeth+ Gunset; his maternal grandparents were Steffen+ Brengal and Elsbeth+ Bratten. He had four brothers and a sister, named Jacob, Peter, Christian, Benedikt and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 61 in 1750 in PA.General Notes
John was baptised in the RefOrned Church on Oct. 4, 1689. He and his family sailed on the ship "Samuel" under the listing "Johannes Drachsel", and arrived at Pennsylvania on August 30, 1737. According to source 2, Johannes died in the same year that he remarried to Anna Roth-Schreiber (1750).
