Sarah Anna was born on July 12th, 1839 in S. Whitehall Twp., Lehigh Co., PA. Sarah Anna's father was Abraham Troxell and her mother is Sarah Lehr. Her paternal grandparents were Peter Troxell and Magdalena Siegfried. She had two brothers and two sisters, named James Nox Polk, Phaon Abraham Peter, July Ann and Melosena. She had two half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named Amandus Jackson, Benjamin Franklin, Levina, Henrietta, Eliza, Eva Matilda, Anna Maria, Elizabeth, Magdalena and Catharina.General Notes
