Joseph Troxell 
Joseph was born on October 6th, 1797 in Easton, Northampton Co., PA. Joseph's father was Nicholas Troxell and his mother was Anna Margaret Becker. His paternal grandparents were Johanne Michael Troxell and Anna Margaretha Saeger. He had nine brothers and a sister, named George T., John Nicholas, Michael T., Jacob, Heinrich, Abraham, Peter, William, Daniel and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the eleven children.
