Joel Troxell

Joel was born on November 27th, 1802 in Egypt, Whitehall Twp., Northampton, PA. Joel's father was Peter Troxell and his mother was Sibylla Veronica Hecker. His paternal grandparents were Nicholas Johannes Troxell and Catharina Reeder; his maternal grandparents are John Hecker and Catherina X. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Peter, Solomon, Elias, Magdalena, Catharina and Susanna. He is the second youngest of the eight children.
