Martha was born on January 7th, 1773. Martha's father was Strangeman Stanley and her mother was Jemima Mills. Her paternal grandparents were James+ Stanley and Catherine+ Hutchins; her maternal grandfather was Hur Mills and her maternal grandmother is Rachel Harrold. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Isaiah, Michael, Jesse, Samuel, Catherine, Abigail, Rachel and Jemima. She is the fifth oldest of the nine children.General Notes
