James Crew Stanley 
James Crew was born on September 15th, 1792 in Cedar Creek, Hanover, VA. James Crew's father was James Crew Stanley and his mother was Mary Jones. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Stanley and Sarah Crew. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Garland, Nathaniel Jerrett, Jesse, Littleberry, Lemuel, Jonathan, Elizabeth Ann, Sarah and Rhoda. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 50 on July 18th, 1843 in Goshen, OH.General Notes
