Israel Stanley 
Israel was born on January 18th, 1816 in Upper Springfield, Columbiana, OH. Israel's father was James Crew Stanley and his mother is Rachel Cowgill. His paternal grandparents were James Crew Stanley and Mary Jones; his maternal grandfather was James Cowgill and his maternal grandmother is Charlotte X. He had two brothers and two sisters, named James, Jesse, Charlotte and Talitha. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 66 on February 25th, 1882.General Notes
