John I Crew 
John I was born about 1602 in Wick Malbank, Cheshire, England. John I's father was Thomas Crew and his mother was Temperence+ Braye. His paternal grandfather was John+ Carew and his paternal grandmother is Alice+ Mainwaring; his maternal grandfather is Reginald+ Braye and his maternal grandmother was Anne+ Vaux. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Nathaniel, Salathiel, Anne, Patience, Temperance, Silence and Prudence. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died on December 12th, 1679 in Charles City Co., VA.General Notes
