Patience was born about 1608 in Wick Malbank, Cheshire, England. Patience's father was Thomas Crew and her mother was Temperence+ Braye. Her paternal grandfather was John+ Carew and her paternal grandmother is Alice+ Mainwaring; her maternal grandfather is Reginald+ Braye and her maternal grandmother was Anne+ Vaux. She had four brothers and four sisters, named John I, Thomas, Nathaniel, Salathiel, Anne, Temperance, Silence and Prudence. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children. She died on March 30th, 1642. She was buried in Kedleston, Derbyshire, England.General Notes
