Catherine+ was born in 1340 in Tunbridge, Staffordshire, England. Catherine+'s father was Ralph+ Stafford and her mother was Margaret De+ Audley. Her paternal grandparents were Edmund+ Stafford and Margaret+ Basset; her maternal grandparents were Hugh De+ Audley and Margaret De+ Clare. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Hugh+, Ralph, Margaret+, Joan+, Elizabeth+ and Beatrice+. She had a half-sister named Jane+. She died at the age of 21 in December 1361.General Notes
