Eleanor De+ was born in 1217 in Aix-en-Provence, France.  Eleanor De+'s father was Raymond Berenger V De+ Provence and her mother was Beatrice De+ Savoie.  Her paternal grandfather was Alphonse II D'+ Provence and her paternal grandmother is Gersende II De+ Sabran; her maternal grandparents were Thomas I De+ Savoie and Beatrix De Faucigny De+ Geneva. She had three sisters named Marguerite De+, Sancha De and Beatrice De+.  She was the oldest of the four children.  She died at the age of 74 on June 24th, 1291 in Cathedral Abbey, Canterbury, Kent  (became a nun).


Eleanor De+'s family with Henry III+ Plantagenet

‌Eleanor De+ and Henry III+ were married in a religious ceremony on January 14th, 1236.  They had six sons and three daughters, named Edward I+, Edmund+, Richard, John, William, Henry, Margaret, Beatrice+ and Catherine.
