Margaret was born on October 5th, 1240 in Windsor Castle, Windsor, Berkshire, Engl. Margaret's father was Henry III+ Plantagenet and her mother was Eleanor De+ Provence. Her paternal grandparents were John+ Plantagenet and Isabelle Taillefer D'+ Angouleme; her maternal grandparents were Raymond Berenger V De+ Provence and Beatrice De+ Savoie. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Edward I+, Edmund+, Richard, John, William, Henry, Beatrice+ and Catherine. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 33 on February 27th, 1274 in Cupar Castle, Cuper, Fifeshire, Scotland. She was buried in Dunfermline, Fifeshire, Scotland.General Notes
