Afonso II D'+ was born in 1152 in Huesca, Spain. Afonso II D'+'s father was Raimond Berenger V De+ Barcelona and his mother was Petronilla D'+ Aragon. His paternal grandparents were Raimond Berenger IV De+ Barcelona and Dulce Aldonza De+ Provence; his maternal grandparents were Ramiro II D'+ Aragon and Agnes D'+ Aquitaine. He had a brother and a sister, named Sancho D' and Dulce D'+. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 44 on April 25th, 1196 in Perpignan, Pyrbenbees-Orientales, France.General Notes
