Joan Of Acre+ was born in 1272 in Acre (Akko), Hazafon, Israel.  Joan Of Acre+'s father was Edward I+ Plantagenet and her mother was Eleanor De+ Castilla.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry III+ Plantagenet and Eleanor De+ Provence; her maternal grandparents were Fernando III De+ Castilla and Jeanne De+ Dammartin. She had two brothers and three sisters, named John Plantagenet De+, Edward II+, Eleanor+, Margaret+ and Elizabeth+.  She was the third oldest of the six children. She had two half-brothers named Thomas+ and Edmund+.  She died at the age of 35 on April 23rd, 1307 in Clare, Suffolk, England.  She was buried on April 26th, 1307 in Priory Church of the Austin Friars, Clare, Suffolk, England.
