Christian+ Ruthven 
Christian+ was born about 1540 in Scotland. Christian+'s father was William+ Ruthven and her mother is Janet+ Halyburton. Her paternal grandfather was William+ Ruthven and her paternal grandmother is Joan+ Hepburn; her maternal grandfather was Patrick+ Halyburton and her maternal grandmother is Margaret+ Douglas. She had a brother and three sisters, named Patrick, Lilias, Catherine and Barbara. She was the youngest of the five children. She died about October 15th, 1597.General Notes
