James Murray

James was born on July 28th, 1690 in Edinborough, Scotland. James' father was John II Murray and his mother was Catherine Douglas-Hamilton. His paternal grandparents were John Murray and Amelia Anne Sophia Stanley. He had four brothers and a sister, named John, William, Charles, George and Susan. He was the third oldest of the six children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, Edward, Frederick and Mary. He died at the age of 73 on January 8th, 1764 in Dunkeld.
