John Minor 
John was born on April 2nd, 1791 in VA. John's father was James Carr Minor and his mother was Mary Carr. His paternal grandparents were John M. Minor and Sarah Dabney Carr; his maternal grandparents were John Carr and Barbara Ann Overton. He had a brother and five sisters, named James, Sarah Sally, Elizabeth, Mary, Nancy Ann and Barbara Overton. He was the youngest of the seven children.
