Noah W. was born in 1848 in Adair Co., MO. Noah W.'s father was Whitaker W. Mikels and his mother was Martha `Patsy` Bragg. His paternal grandparents were John Michael and Sarah Whitaker. He had three brothers and a sister, named Henry C., James T., John and Eliza. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 63 in 1911 in Illinois Bend, Adair Co., MO.General Notes
