James T. Mikels 
James T. was born on September 13th, 1850 in Adair Co., MO. James T.'s father was Whitaker W. Mikels and his mother was Martha `Patsy` Bragg. His paternal grandparents were John Michael and Sarah Whitaker. He had three brothers and a sister, named Henry C., Noah W., John and Eliza. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 41 on October 22nd, 1891 in Adair Co., MO.General Notes
