Mary Ann was born on May 21st, 1822 in Muhlenburg Co., KY. Mary Ann's father was John Michael and her mother was Sarah Whitaker. Her paternal grandfather was Christian Michael and her paternal grandmother is Maria Barbara Eisenhauer. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Hugh, Whitaker W., John S., Daniel N., Samuel, Cynthia and Elizabeth. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 30 on July 22nd, 1852 in Macon Co., MO.General Notes
