William Maxwell 
William was born about 1549. William's father was John Maxwell and his mother was Agnes Herries. His paternal grandfather was Robert Maxwell and his paternal grandmother is Janet Douglas; his maternal grandfather was William Herries and his maternal grandmother is Catherine Kennedy. He had four sisters named Elizabeth, Margaret, Nicola and Sara. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died on October 10th, 1604.General Notes
