Margaret Maxwell 
Margaret was born about 1554 in Terregles, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland. Margaret's father was John Maxwell and her mother was Agnes Herries. Her paternal grandfather was Robert Maxwell and her paternal grandmother is Janet Douglas; her maternal grandfather was William Herries and her maternal grandmother is Catherine Kennedy. She had a brother and three sisters, named William, Elizabeth, Nicola and Sara. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died on January 8th, 1617.General Notes
