Colin Mackenzie 
Colin was born before 1541 in Kintail, Ross, and Cromarty, Scotland. Colin's father was Kenneth Mackenzie and his mother is Elizabeth Stewart. His paternal grandfather was John of Kintail Mackenzie and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Grant; his maternal grandparents were John Stewart and Janet Campbell. He had a brother and four sisters, named Roderick, Elizabeth, Janet, Catherine and Agnes. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died on June 14th, 1594 in Redcastle, Beauly, Scotland.General Notes
