Kenneth was born about 1573 in Kintail, Ross & Cromarty, Scotland. Kenneth's father was Colin Mackenzie and his mother is Barbara Grant. His paternal grandfather was Kenneth Mackenzie and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Stewart; his maternal grandparents are John Grant and Margaret Stewart. He had two brothers and a sister, named Alexander, Roderick and Janet. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had a half-brother named Alexander. He died in 1611 in Scotland. He was buried on April 28th, 1611 in Chanonry, Scotland.General Notes
