Joshua Hobson 
Joshua was born on September 29th, 1787 in Chatham Co., NC. Joshua's father was Charles Hobson and his mother was Sarah Beck. His paternal grandparents were George+ Hobson and Hannah Elizabeth+ Kinneson; his maternal grandparents were Jeffry Beck and Lydia Phillips. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named Isaac, Jesse, George, Charles Jr., Hannah, Lydia, Susannah, Jane, Mary, Phebe, Rebecca and Sarah. He was the second youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 56 on February 18th, 1844 in Stouts Grove, McLean Co., IL.General Notes
