George Y. Hobson

George Y. was born on May 5th, 1817 in Randolph Co., NC. George Y.'s father was Joshua Hobson and his mother is Margaret York. His paternal grandparents were Charles Hobson and Sarah Beck. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Iris, William, Emily, Sarah, Everilla B. and Matilda. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 36 on August 10th, 1853 in Stouts Grove, McLean Co., IL.
