Jesse Hobson 
Jesse was born about 1770 in Chatham Co., NC. Jesse's father was Charles Hobson and his mother was Sarah Beck. His paternal grandparents were George+ Hobson and Hannah Elizabeth+ Kinneson; his maternal grandparents were Jeffry Beck and Lydia Phillips. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named Isaac, George, Charles Jr., Joshua, Hannah, Lydia, Susannah, Jane, Mary, Phebe, Rebecca and Sarah. He was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children.
