Alexander Spotswood Henry 
Alexander Spotswood was born on June 2nd, 1788 in Pleasant Grove, VA. Alexander Spotswood's father was Patrick Henry and his mother was Dorothea Spotswood Dandridge. His paternal grandparents were John Henry and Sarah Dabney Winston; his maternal grandparents were Nathaniel West Dandridge and Dorothea Spotswood. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Patrick, Nathaniel West, Richard, Edward Winston, John, Dorothea Spotswood, Kitty, Sarah Butler, Martha Catherine, Fayette and Jane Robertson. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, William, Edward, Martha, Anne and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 66 in 1854.General Notes
