John Gaines

John was born about 1862 in NE or MO. John's father was Richard A. Gaines and his mother was Abigail Jane York. His paternal grandparents were William B. Gaines and Mary Callahan; his maternal grandfather is Jesse York and his maternal grandmother was Mary Polly Watts. He had a brother and a sister, named William Jessie and Lucy. He is the youngest of the three children.
