Robert Scott was born about 1818 in KY. Robert Scott's father was Zachariah Eastin and his mother was Nancy Anna Durbin. His paternal grandparents were Augustine Eastin and Mary Sally Ford; his maternal grandfather was Daniel Durbin and his maternal grandmother is Mary Johns. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Henry Johns, William Augusta, Charles Daniel, Thomas Norman, Robert L., Laurens Ramsey, Mary Ford Johns, Louisa Ann, Edward Franklin, Cassandra Maria and Anna Elizabeth.
