Henry Johns Eastin 
Henry Johns was born in 1802 in KY. Henry Johns' father was Zachariah Eastin and his mother was Nancy Anna Durbin. His paternal grandparents were Augustine Eastin and Mary Sally Ford; his maternal grandfather was Daniel Durbin and his maternal grandmother is Mary Johns. He had six brothers and five sisters, named William Augusta, Charles Daniel, Thomas Norman, Robert L., Robert Scott, Laurens Ramsey, Mary Ford Johns, Louisa Ann, Edward Franklin, Cassandra Maria and Anna Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 56 in 1858.General Notes
The 1850 census for Henderson, KY shows Henry J. (age 47) living with William A., Edward and wife Amanda C. (Scroggins) Eastin , and Eliza Scroggins (probable sister to Amanda C.) with Zecheriah (as spelled in census) and wife Anna Durbin close by and living with other family members. I have received correspondence from Cinda Eastin (wife of descendant of Zacariah and Anna through their son William) that cites "The Eastin Family" by Roy Church Eastin. (106)
