Robert L. was born in 1817 in KY. Robert L.'s father was Zachariah Eastin and his mother was Nancy Anna Durbin. His paternal grandparents were Augustine Eastin and Mary Sally Ford; his maternal grandfather was Daniel Durbin and his maternal grandmother is Mary Johns. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Henry Johns, William Augusta, Charles Daniel, Thomas Norman, Robert Scott, Laurens Ramsey, Mary Ford Johns, Louisa Ann, Edward Franklin, Cassandra Maria and Anna Elizabeth. <a href=http://www.usgennet.org/usa/ky/county/henderson/CENS1850.txt>Henderso n Co. 1850 Census</a> shows Robert L. (age 33) living with (wife?) Mary J (age 28) and (son?) Henry ( age 1) with Zecheriah and wife Anna Durbin close by and living with other family members. I have not located any other documentation to prove that Robert L. was son to Zachariah and Anna, but the information I have gathered so far makes it quite probable. THIS PLACEMENT FOR ROBERT IS PRELIMINARY, but probable.
