Matilda M. Eastin

Matilda M. was born on July 3rd, 1824 in Scott Co., IL. Matilda M.'s father was Charles Smith Eastin and her mother was Sarah Swearingen. Her paternal grandparents were Philip Eastin and Sarah Ann Hite Smith. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Van Swearingen, John Michael, Harmon, Susanna, Mary J., Eliza, Mahalia, Margaret, Nm and Harriet A.. She was the second youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 88 on December 19th, 1912.
