John Michael Eastin 
John Michael was born on February 12th, 1808 in Shelby, KY. John Michael's father was Charles Smith Eastin and his mother was Sarah Swearingen. His paternal grandparents were Philip Eastin and Sarah Ann Hite Smith. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named Van Swearingen, Harmon, Susanna, Mary J., Eliza, Mahalia, Margaret, Nm, Matilda M. and Harriet A.. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 84 on April 5th, 1892 in Coles Co., IL.General Notes
