Harmon Eastin

Harmon was born on September 27th, 1812 in Madison, Jefferson, IN. Harmon's father was Charles Smith Eastin and his mother was Sarah Swearingen. His paternal grandparents were Philip Eastin and Sarah Ann Hite Smith. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named Van Swearingen, John Michael, Susanna, Mary J., Eliza, Mahalia, Margaret, Nm, Matilda M. and Harriet A.. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 33 in August 1846 in New Orleans Parish, LA.
