Mary Winston Carr 
Mary Winston was born on April 28th, 1796 in Bentivar, Albemarle Co., VA. Mary Winston's father was Garland Carr and her mother is Mary Phillips Winston. Her paternal grandparents were John Carr and Barbara Ann Overton; her maternal grandparents were William Winston and Polly Overton. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Francis, Daniel Terrill, James Overton, Barbara Ann and Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 55 on February 12th, 1852 in St. Charles Co., MO.General Notes
Mary was a niece of Dabney Carr, who married Martha Jefferson, sister of Thomas Jefferson.
