James Overton Carr 
James Overton was born on October 6th, 1793 in Albemarle Co., VA. James Overton's father was Garland Carr and his mother is Mary Phillips Winston. His paternal grandparents were John Carr and Barbara Ann Overton; his maternal grandparents were William Winston and Polly Overton. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Francis, Daniel Terrill, Barbara Ann, Elizabeth and Mary Winston. He is the second youngest of the six children.General Notes
