Betsy Elizabeth was born on April 27th, 1773 in Louisa Co., VA. Betsy Elizabeth's father was Overton Carr and her mother is Mary Ann Addison. Her paternal grandparents were John Carr and Barbara Ann Overton. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Overton Jr., Jonathan Bourchier, Nellie Ellen and Mary Ann. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 64 in 1837 in Richmond, VA.General Notes
