Thomas Butler 
Thomas was born on July 8th, 1634 in Kilkenny, Ireland. Thomas' father was James Butler and his mother was Elizabeth Preston. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Butler and Elizabeth Poyntz; his maternal grandfather was Richard Preston and his maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Butler. He had two sisters named Elizabeth and Mary. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 46 on July 30th, 1680 in Arlington House, London, England. He was buried on July 31st, 1680 in Westminster Abbey, London, England.General Notes
