Thomas Butler 
Thomas was born about 1540. Thomas' father was James Butler and his mother was Joan Fitzgerald. His paternal grandfather was Piers Roe Butler and his paternal grandmother is Margaret Fitzgerald; his maternal grandfather was James Fitzgerald and his maternal grandmother is Amy O'Brien-Ara. He had four brothers named Walter, Edmond, John and James. He was the second youngest of the five children. He had a half-brother named Francis II. He died on November 22nd, 1614 in Carrick, Ireland. He was buried in St. Canice, Kilkenny, Ireland.General Notes
