Thomas Fitzgerald 
Thomas was born about 1421. Thomas' father was James Fitzgerald and his mother is Mary De Burgh. His paternal grandparents were Gearoid Larla Fitzgerald and Eleanor Le Botiller. He had a brother and two sisters, named Gerald, Joan and Honora. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died on February 15th, 1469 in Drogheda - decapitated.. He was buried in St. Peter's Church, then removed to the Church of the Holy Trinity in Dublin, Ireland.General Notes
In 1464, Thomas "founded the collegiate church of Youghal. In 1467 he was succeeded in the government by John Tiptoft, Earl of Worcester, 'who caused him to be attainted of treason in a parliament held at Brogheda, with the Earl of Kildare and Edward Plunkett for alliances, fosterage, and alterage with the Irish; for furnishing them with horse and arms, and supporting them against the King's subjects; for which he was beheaded..." "Lodge (historian) notes: "His tomb was removed, by order of Sir Henry Sidney, to the church of the Holy Trinity in Dublin, where it seems to represent the person of Earl Strongow, whose monument was broken by the fall of the roof of the church on Whitsun-eve, 1572."
